Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and reliable PRN Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to clients in DeSoto and Arlington, TX. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible scheduling while making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Provide mobility assistance and transfers as needed

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or supervisors

• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care

• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience as a PCA, CNA, or caregiver preferred

• Reliable transportation to DeSoto and Arlington service areas

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
